MTs, you would think they could make their paydays every other Friday, instead of twice a month.
Why so snarky? Having a bad day?
I had a job years ago that paid weekly and I loved it. I'm also old enough to remember the days before direct deposit and spending Friday lunch hours in line at the bank. Even still, I liked getting the money weekly.
The worst was when I was paid monthly. I was 18 and out on my own in an apartment, but I had no idea how to budget. There were many days of peanut butter and jelly towards the end of the month! Even after all of that, I still like peanut butter and jelly! I never got sick of it.
I'm not a business owner, but I would think it would cost them more to pay weekly if they have a payroll company do the numbers for them.
I don't mean to change the subject, but do you know if businesses pay to have direct deposit? The cost of printing and mailing checks versus direct deposit has to save them quite a bit of money over the years.
