Left message with recruiter, but perhaps someone here could tell me. The weekend warrior position is for 16 hours on the weekend, 2nd and 3rd shift. Does their "weekend" start on Friday night or just Saturday and Sunday?

I'm pretty sure, having been a so-called "weekend warrior" myself, that you will run out of work CONSTANTLY. You will have numerous accounts with, oh, 96 pages worth of tiny irrelevant formatting details (I counted number of pages for all my accounts - yep, 96 repetitive pages, except for trivial formatting you MUST do correctly).

The main thing is, I wish you all the best - but - they don't pay for demographics (picky, picky, picky details!), inputting addresses, searching databases, etc - which will eat up a lot of time.

Working for Amphion was the absolutely WORST, most exploitative job I've had as an MT in 17 years - it DROVE ME OUT OF the MT profession altogether. Done.

But - it may be different for you. I wish you all the best. But please keep in mind what I've said - and it's better to get out sooner rather than later. It will NOT improve, and for the pay you get at Amphion...McDonald's might be better.

I am considering going with this company also, I know I saw on the website that it includes Friday, just not sure what shift.

I work for the NorthEast section of Medquist and my supervisor wanted to verify all of our hours before we started getting locked-out of working hours other than our scheduled hours. My CCM has been harping on us voluntarily changing our scheduled to weekend hours, how "it won't hurt a bit" and you may quote me.
