in essence, at least what I think you're saying, it's not the responsibility of the typist to research names and terms, etc. in a transcript. See that's where I was confused about how one could type a legal document so quickly when dealing with more than one person, but it would make sense that if research is minimal to nonexistent that I could probably type my little fingers away without having that type of responsibility.
