Yes, big difference in editing and typing an entire transcript - sm

I can imagine that typing a 500 page transcription would take some time. Good questions. I suppose though at $35 an hour, a 500 page transcript would garner you $175, and at $65, it would garner you $325 for that 500 page transcript. The big question for me is what is the ease of typing from scratch such a long document? If it's going to take me days to type, then that $325 really isn't great money for the time spent. Of course, there were the days when one could type medical and make $200 or more for a 7 to 8 day. You have to take into consideration also that some of these transcripts don't even have things spelled correctly, as phonetic is a great way to get around all of that.
