Well see that's the thing, the information (case # and patient name) that we were suppose to enter/edit, was only in Fluency (Fluency was only used for audio) and only for Aquity to use. Said information was not used by the facility. transcription was done inside Meditech and the only places we could type was in the body of the report (gross, micro, final addendum). We could not and did have any way to manipulate/edit any patient information. The only verifcation we had was the case # and the dicated name that was in the dictated audio.
the only notes/flags we could leave was making a note inside one of the trancription fields and it could only be in regard to any blanks that may have been left or put the audio on hold.
When you are paid by the audio minute or by the line, every second and every keystrokes counts. And every second and every keystroke should be paid for. And they weren't paying me for it. I was hired to type pathology inside of Meditech, not anywhere else.
