Part of the job is to make sure DOB is correct when they dictate it, correct patient, DOS is entered and correct. When a patient is in a hospital for a length of time, the DOS does not auto-populate and fill in on the demo sheet. You have to enter it no matter what program you work. It auto-fills in for specific, one-time, one-day type-of-service. It's not free work - it only takes a second to fill in. It's part of the job and they told you this during your orientation and training. You cannot slide on demo sheet because if you do docs don't get paid $1000s and you want these same docs to pay you when you aren't taking care of them? This type of behavior is why accts are lost. Not my job. If you go above and beyond that's how you have job security and a paycheck. Demo sheets are part of the job, not above and beyond, and they told you that when they trained you.
