Your disability wouldn't be the main reason you couldn't support your family doing MT----the MT field would be to blame.

There are lots of work from home jobs that aren't scams. Customer service, order taking from online catalogs, etc.

Studying MT at ths point in hopes of finding a good steady income would be futile. However, you have to decide that for yourself.
