That's pretty much what I thought. I have seen quite few posts on here already complaining about the state of the profession. I'm taking the course through a community college with a really sincere and kind teacher who views it as a tragedy if someone quits the course. But she refuses to address the issue of pay when I ask about that. Obviously, things are not good.
