This website is helpful. Even if you retire early, apparently your benefits are recalculated once you hit full retirement age and you are given back pay - if I understand this correctly?
Everyone needs to call and talk to a rep who can answer all your questions correctly, instead of relying on information here from other people's situations that are different from your own.
It's apparently paid the month after you qualify; birthday in June, first check starts in July.
