and may just want to learn something new. In that case go for it. Some MTSOs hire people with no medical experience at all because they think editing does not require such. So, she may luck out and find a job but yeah, the pay will not be a living wage and you will be IC with no bennies and if you lose your job, no UI. Far from the career it used to be.
