I liked the pre-internet days better where you went to local employers, filled out applications, talked to a human in HR and if you liked each other you were offered and accepted a job. Now in most industries HR hides behind computer programs that look for "buzz" words they decide they want to look for and often they miss talking to people that are perfectly qualified.
