I'm sure you know the date of your installation or a ballpark. Go to Control Panel and sort your installed program list by date. Uninstall everything installed on your VDI install date or after.

"What about all the system changes they made to my computer?"

Again, armed with your VDI install date go to System Restore and restore your settings to a date previous to the install date.

Another option, reformat the drive and restore from backup. I'm assuming it's safe to assume that you have a backup for the computer that your income depends on.
