Some say that coding will go the same way as MT in terms of offshoring and automation, but I think it will be at least another decade or more before that will be a real issue, probably long enough for you to reach retirement age (also in my 50s).
Having now been with both Andrews and Career Step for coding (speaking of a don't ask, long story), I'd say go with Andrews if you're sure you can meet the deadlines, which are fairly generous (I couldn't, so now why I'm with Career Step, who offer unlimited extensions for a price, not an ultimate unnegotiable deadline like Andrews).
