The quotas/number of cases coded per day are at the discretion of the employer, no one starts meeting requirements right away, new employees usually have a 3-month probation period at most jobs and some places probably do offer incentives. Also, it was probably mentioned, but the accuracy requirements are more strict than transcription, there is literally no margin for error. I've never worked anywhere where the employer did things to make it easier for people by lowering standards.
