Working as a coder is probably more difficult. I would not pay for an extension, they can keep you hooked forever, paying to extend it is not going to make it easier. If you intend to finish, set a goal and complete it in the allotted time frame, ask an instructor for help. Yes you need certification but it was my understanding that Career Step help student prepare for the exams. Experience is an asset in any job, most places will let you test in without experience. I was told that Career Step had externships and job placement assistance, you need to check with them to get the answers to your questions.
