healthcare. Where are the women's groups protecting women's rights and wages!! Where are they!! The majority of transcriptionists are women. Women are being taken advantage of. This is no longer a livable wage. Why haven't any of the politicians or Unions helped us? I am no longer an MT because I can no longer earn a livable wage. I loved the job and I was passionate about being accurate, responsive to TAT, patient care was my top concern. Simply put I will starve if I continue in this profession. So, I resigned. I am now looking for a new position. To the original poster: Please take care. Each day take baby steps toward making your future better. It will all add up and things will get brighter.
