Don't do this to yourself, please. Don't let anyone else take your joy for living, your passion for whatever it is that brings that state, your belief in yourself. I agree with another poster, please get some short term therapy. This WILL pass. I was with the company for 20 years, was "eliminated," am 60+, and had been sitting here feeling at a loss at how to move forward. It is NOT you, it's NOT me, or the huge number of others pretty much in the same boat.

I'm pretty stubborn (family trait), and I absolutely refuse to let this break me! I refuse to become some sort of a statistic about changing times/industry. I'm not mad too much anymore, that just zapped all of my positive energy. I will now CHOOSE to pick myself up, dust myself off, and....I don't know, just move.

Please take care of yourself in a good way. Peace be with you.
