To be a medical transcriptionist takes dignity and superior intelligence. But remember, these MTSOs are only people with money. And although we work for them, we are not their servants. What we do, Miss X, does not define who we are. What defines us is how well we rise after falling.

AND if you are 40-something, you have a long ways to go before falling!!!!! Take my word for it...the world does not END at 40-something.

If you are a Screen Watcher, you have "played" their game FAR TO LONG!

WORDS OF ADVICE: Believe it or not, there are other transcription companies out there...the BIG MOLDY Basket and Nuisance or New Once are only 2 of those companies, and I would NEVER lower myself to work for either one of them!

Do something that makes you happy! Go get a makeover. Treat yourself to whatever brings back that thrill.

And then send out tons of resumes! The odds are in your favor!!!!! :) Make sure that your resume is going to catch a new employer's eye! I can help you with that if you wish.
