Sometimes I clock in, watch the box turn to red and clocked in, and when I go back to clock out, it shows that I wasn't clocked in. When I have to add an entry, I always write a note in the note box.
If you are regularly not bothering to clock in and adding the times later, they could use it to accuse you of time clock fraud. Just an FYI.
