My first paycheck was well above my VBC lines. I asked HR and they told me that you get extra pay for working on certain federal accounts. They said it was to partially compensate you for not having company health insurance and also giving money to you for vacation and holidays. I wish I had more work but they promise the floodgates are about to open.
