I'm not qualified to work anywhere that pays much better. I don't like being among The Humans. I have personal responsibilities at home that require around the clock attention. I'm totally on my own - no family or spouse of any kind.

The whole argument "no one is forcing you to stay" is very condescending because no, no person is forcing me, but my circumstances are.

I'm looking for a way out, but it's exhausting and my choices aren't great. So again, if I had a better option, I would leave.
