I did contact management above her, who BIG SURPRISE sided with her. Unreal that different areas have different RULES!!! But I should know by now they do what they want!!! It is becoming UNBEARABLE AND IMPOSSIBLE to do make-up hours due to family commitments and life in general, especially since you have to pick from the SWAP BOARD unless you make up the time without the same day; and of course, the swap board shifts they post are CRAPPY!!!! Kind of DISCRIMINATORY don't you think that other areas can use the EXCUSED ABSENCE: NO WORK, and our are CANNOT due to the boss's PERSONAL RULES
