In our area, we are NOT allowed to use EXCUSED ABSENCE: NO PAY. Our manager INSISTS we make up the time later in the week... LIke we don't have a LIFE or THINGS TO DO on our OFF DAYS or have FAMILY RESPONSIBILITIES... Our life is to CENTER AROUND MMODAL JOBS - even when there's NO JOBS AVAILABLE ON THEIR END. Very very hard to make-up time when you have family responsibilities. Guess, it depends on WHO your manager is, but doesn't seem fair that other areas can use EXCUSED ABSENCE: NO WORK, but our area CANNOT!!! Guess they make up the rules on their own to suit them!
