There is no QA. As one of the other posters who used to work for TMT said earlier, the MTs utilize the Meditech email system to send a message to all of the other MTs whenever they have blanks. We are all expected to monitor the Meditech emails throughout they day and try to help fill in each other's blanks. In the event that a blank(s) cannot be filled in, we then have to send an email to the facility with the job information to make them aware that the job is coming to them with blanks. It's extremely tedious and aggravating, especially since we don't get paid to do any of that. I am an MT, not a QA specialist. If they want zero blanks on this account, then they need to hire an actual QA person. To pin the responsibility on the MTs of filling in other people's blanks is absolutely ridiculous and is counterproductive to production and maintaining TAT.

As far as vacations and days off go, the owner really doesn't seem to care. Someone I know who also works there sent the owner an email 2 or 3 weeks before she was going to be going on vacation to let her know and never got a response from the owner, which is absolutely ridiculous. She went on vacation for a week, never heard back from her, and came back to work without a single peep from the owner, not even so much as an acknowledgement that she received her email letting her know that she would be away on vacation. The place is an circus.
