I've been at this for over 20 years and over the years I have heard dictators who appear to be speaking Swahili in reverse on high speed (even if they are American born)!!. However, when they interrupt their dictation to laugh and joke with the nurses, etc., you can hear they are speaking perfectly clearly and intelligibly. Why, you say. Because they hate to dictate, think it's a waste of their time, so obviously not that concerned about what gets transcribed, but we are supposed to care about THEIR patient. Go figure.
