I am not a "suit," just a regular MT, grateful to still have a job. I want to publicly praise Nuance for taking care of their employees as far as pay for the downtime. Even back in the "good old days" my hospital employer did not compensate us for downtimes, so this is a huge thing.
Sure, our line pay is substandard (unless you don't have QA/QC dings), and working conditions are at times maddening, but when the crisis hit, they made sure we could pay our bills.
It's not perfect, but it sure earned my loyalty!
