The owner of AssistMed in California died and the family did not want to continue the transcription service; the manager for AssistMed is in the Quad Cities and they redid the company and call it AST Svcs. now. Also they have contracted with Nuance but AST employees are not Nuance employees but AST employees. There is always plenty of work with them though.
