Similar story. Couldn't make enough working FT to make it worth my while. Still work PT with miserable Obamacare coverage that. I had cancer. There is no pre-existing clause anymore; that was part of the "reform." If you can get by on SS alone, maybe you will make little enough that you can be on Medicaid. Way better than Obamacare.
