Turning 62 in April - Waiting

I'm turning 62 next April and plan to take my SS. If I were still earning at the rate we used to be paid I would probably hold off until 65 but since we earn so little per line now I can't make ends meet. I have not been able to afford health insurance this year after my marketplace plan premium went way up, so probably will have to live without health coverage until Medicare. And to think I devoted my entire working life to the MT field only to find myself in this situation. Very sad.
