Retiring at 62 - anon

Posted: Oct 11th, 2016 - 10:55 am In Reply to: Anyone retired at age 62 but kept working - to receive health insurance

Planning on retiring at 62 next October and working part-time. At least with early SS, I know what that income will be every month. I don't have to worry about health insurance as I am a military widow, and have that for the rest of my life, even if I do remarry. One thing that I am also pursuing is getting my late hubby's retirement benefits, as he died from cancer as a result of being exposed to Agent Orange. It is a process, and I may have to have a lawyer pursue it (similar to being denied for disability), but that would also help tremendously.
