There is something so wrong with this attitude you articulate that I feel disappointed. The first thing is that you have forgotten the patient, who deserves to have a record available so that they can continue to be treated correctly. That should always be your first thought when you start work. And yes, since many of us have this superiority complex about our work then a native English speaker who does not care about the work they produce should be replaced. If the rules offend you so much that you can flush your integrity down the toilet then you need to make a change. Keep in mind as well (and you do not have to care you just have to be informed) that the MTs overseas are generally treated with much less respect than here and make considerably less money for the same level of BS that we "enjoy" here. If we ever in our lives expect this world to work to its fullest capacity the humans who live on the planet need to come together. If not, expect no change but do expect more and more and more of what we see on the TV each day. I caution you that when you get out of this field that you choose something where your responsibility is next to nothing because there is no job on earth that does not carry some level of responsibility.
