I have been an MT for 40 years and have seen this field go downhill for quite awhile. My advice to you is to get out now and train for something else. I quit Nuance in May and that company has totally turned me against looking for another MT job. Eventually all the work will go to India and anyone still doing MT work in the U.S. is screwed.
