I am not real sure that community colleges give ample transcription training at all. Perhaps back in the day when there was one-on-one help once employed, it may have worked.
Anyway, best of luck to Nessa. Go in with your eyes wide open if you decide to do MT. By that, I mean be totally prepared to have to train for other type of work.
