I have come to the conclusion that MModal is just advertising for new hires to show hospitals that they are trying to hire U.S. transcriptionists, but they're not really hiring any. It looks good so they can tell the hospitals they are trying to get new accounts from - gee, we don't have enough US transcriptionists, why don't you go with "global" transcriptionists, they're just as good and you can get transcription a little cheaper. The hospitals are clueless, their eyes glaze over when they think they can get something a little cheaper. I also have come to the conclusion MM doesn't want to have to pay for another lay-off, so they hope enough people will just give up it won't cost them any money. Sneaky little bastards . . .
