I don't think she gets how ominous the environment is where you are either executioner (QA) or victim (MT) of pay docking via FIESA.
I never used to mind the QA commenting on the odd report here and there and giving their advice. Of course then they were actually helping, NOT cutting my pay.
Now, however, FIESA has completely erased any sort of relationship between QA and MT but one of adversaries. The only reason QA are there with Nuance is to cut your pay via FIESA, certainly not to answer style questions or spec questions or really anything else. We have no contact with them at all except the nastygrams we get in our email box from FIESA, all automated.
So unless you work for Nuance you really cannot get what that's like.
