I know this for a fact.... Before my institution was procured by the N, at least in the Editscript platform, QA CAN hear it better. I have no idea why that it is, but what we used to do at our institution (once again) before the N, if we could hear something, we would pend a report that was in Editscript and then go back and re-listen to it on the other side (which QA does), and it was always clearer. I am assuming that since QA gets to reap its monetary rewards from the skins off our back, there is really no incentive to figure out why this is the case. Cannot speak for other platforms.
