I ended up at Nuance because of TWO buyouts. - N was not my choice.

I was an IC for a great company and made GOOD money. Then buyout number one came along and that was still a good company and okay money. Then the Nuance buyout came along and it was actually okay for awhile before all the big changes happened a year ago.

I NEVER applied to Nuance.
