I don't stay at Nuance for the pay. There are several reasons why I do stay:
1. My small company was bought out by them and I decided to sign on with them until my accounts went to India or until I found a better job (which seems to be more difficult lately).
2. I am on the ambulatory side, so to me that's better than acute care for some other company.
3. I'm just working MT for a few more years because of my family situation.
It's terrible what they are doing to the profession. The management is making all the money and the people who do the real work are getting paid sub par wages. They are putting smaller companies out of business who used to pay a fair wage.
