I have been reading this board off and on for some time. I am dumbfounded at the rude comments so often posted. I'm completely baffled!! Why in the world would someone choose to be so rude and nasty at a legitimate question? If you don't like the question, DON'T ANSWER IT!! You only serve to make yourself and your entire field of coders look bad.

There are, in fact, opportunities to test out of certain courses like medical terminology for experienced MT's. It would be an individual decision if you choose to do that--it might be a great refresher!
