In fact, you CAN "test" out of medical terminology as an MT. In essence, you just don't have to buy the terminology book (saving about $100) and you save some time...You do still have to take the tests, which, as an MT are quite easy. Hence, you save the time, save a little money on tuition, and that is the same as testing out.
