I am taking a CPC course and was allowed to skip the terminology and A & P portions because I have already taken them (and kept the information active in my brain by being an MT for 30 years, or I would have retaken them by choice). Now that I am in the actual coding portion of the course I can see that I know every bit as much of the A & P as my classmates, and I far surpass them in terminology. It's not unusual to get unfriendly answers here, and I'm probably about to get ragged on for taking a CPC course instead of going for my CCS.
