I still have 1 IC client, who I was charging 0.14/line, then his EMR changed and I had to change to a per patient charge because it was impossible to count lines in the EMR. So, I took an average of 3 months' worth of invoice divided by the number of patients dictated to arrive at the per patient charge. I have been with him for about 7 years, and I think he's due for a small rate hike. LOL. It's nice making $20-plus per hour and working at my own pace without someone tracking my productivity and QAing me to death. It's a small account, so I also have a part time employee gig.
