Your statement "some are just not up to the standards that TTS wants," let me correct you. TTS wants us to incorrectly stage cancer. They want us to use improper grammar, tense and punctuation, which goes against the grain of any good, experienced MT. I would cringe at what they wanted me to turn in. They would be better off hiring newbies just out of school who did not yet have good transcription habits.
So rather than being, as you stated, not up to TTS standards, the opposite is true: TTS is not up to OUR standards of accuracy.
