There are very few schools that teach to both the CCS and CPC, and that do a good job of it. Most do not cover the material required for the CCS or CCS-P. College programs usually go only as far as the CCA and might not cover CPT enough for the CPC. Legitimate AAPC CPC programs, obviously, go for the CPC. Online "matchbook" type schools -- maybe we should start calling them "banner" schools now because they advertise in those annoying cookie popups -- only go as far as the CPC, if that. "Career colleges" usually teach mostly medical office billing, which is something else entirely.

Most schools simply do not believe it is possible to teach successfully to the CCS.
