You should take the AAPC COC course. - Coder

If you are in a hurry and are CERTAIN that they want and will hire YOU with a COC-A and no experience, your best bet is to take the AAPC's COC course.

I have that credential. By itself, I do not think it is particularly marketable. If you are sure, though, do it sith the AAPC.

Just so you are clear, the COC is not inpatient coding. Most of the jobs right now are inpatient and require AHIMA credentials, not AAPC. The AAPC course does not teach inpt, nor does it meet the requirements for AHIMA exams.
