Just two comments on that ... first is that Andrews' website does present a balanced view of the MT industry. Did you even read it??? Employment IS possible. They do point out the issues with MT, and I do not see anything to indicate that they "encourage" enrolling in it. I believe that they discourage it, but there are some students who insist they want MT. At least Andrews is providing a good course in it.
Second, not every employer is like yours. Even if they were, they would be likely to expect experience. Sometimes you have to make a trade to get what you want. In other words, you might have to work as a contract employee to get the experience to get a dream job. At least Andrews provides what you need to do that at an affordable price, whereas many programs do not.
