I personally receive great pay, though there are levels.

I always receive a bonus quarterly when I pass an audit, and I usually pass.
Being "followed" simply means you're training on a new account and that person is going to check your work...it's very temporary until you are released to blanks...no big conspiracy going on.
Paid weekly.
Good IM system.
Left alone to get my work done for the most part.
For me, it's a small price to pay...being an IC and giving them a schedule that I need to follow to receive all of the above...especially today.
