I do between 150-170 C-LPH, straight typing, re-read every single report (I just can't make myself stop that. Have re-read every report for 10 years), but still make 18-20$ per hour, 100% QC usually. Mostly good dictators though, otherwise could not make so much. I could not make minimum wage editing (different company). The only transcriptionist I know that used Dragon Speaking was a gal on this board many years ago and that was because she broke 2 fingers and could not type. She was an IC and to keep her job/accounts she bought (2,000$?) and used Dragon until her fingers healed and maybe even after that.
