did everyone go? They tell us who to email for what scenario, but then it takes forever to receive a reply. Is this really the Nuance way that Transcend has adopted? I wonder if they'll reply or acknowledge my resignation. I doubt it. I emailed it 5 days ago and have received not a word. Good luck to all Transcenders. It used to be a nice place to work.

MM has procedure to ensure emails arent ignored. Check - around and see if N has similar. nm

actually has a life and doesn't have to sit at her computer all day. I think they might have just created paid monsters. I hope not, but time will tell I guess. I hope it at least solves the cherry picking dilemma. They no longer have to cherry pick all the good jobs and leave me the garbage dictators.

But hourly pay does not mean you work a schedule with no - extra work expected. They often have SM

to do extra work. They may get paid hourly for 8 hours but I bet it is the rare TL that only does 8 hours of work.

I wonder if they will follow suit and replace QA - with Indian QC. (nm)

MM Indian qa do 2 levels but much still has to come - to US qa. At MM, OS does not qa US MT. nm

...not getting a reply to your resignation email!! What a strange and crazy business model this has become (the MTSO world)!!

So, are you counting those 5 days toward a 2-week notice, i.e., you only have 11 more days to work and then will just stop working, even if you don't get a response? I wouldn't know WHAT to do....that is so weird of them. I know that not hearing ANY response within 14 days probably won't happen; but these days, nothing would surprise me!

above and beyond in communicating and giving them 2 weeks' notice to begin with. On my last day, I will forward the original email dated appropriately to HR so they are aware. Good riddance Transcend. Good luck to the rest of you. From the looks of things, you're all going to need lots of luck.

First and foremost, congrats on the new job and your escape. ; )
Also, I just love getting job status emails that include the person's weather outside their window in their little part of the world, their dog or whatever when, in our region, we were told not to even waste their time by confirming an email and definitely no emoticons.
Kind of stupid management when you would think a confirmation of receipt of email might be handy and emoticons are widely used in many businesses so people DON'T take emails the wrong way, since you are not face to face with the person. Very bad people skills!

Ok, so I heard some great things about ScribeRight so I sent them my resume via their website. First, I agree, why do people reply all. BUT, why does DH and others in management position send out blanket emails to everyone - tit for tat I guess. Working for years with TT/Imedx, and I don't want to keep hearing about what others are not doing regarding TAT, etc. I do my work and am on time and work full shifts. First employee check from the company (been an IC for over 5 years, went to employee status Jan 1) and I wasn't paid for my hours, only my production which equaled less than min wage for the hours. If HIPPA is as important as we are told.... and India does not have to abide by HIPPA,... what is to keep us from finding out if our own personal doctors and hospital off-shores there transcription to India, such as via M*Modal. It's become increasingly worse. If you advertise and receive resumes from MTs who are qualified, at least set up an auto response stating you have received their E-mail. It's common courtesy. that we cannot send reports with more than 3 blanks through on TWO of the accounts I work on. Right now, I have one of the worst dictators on one of those accounts. She is ESL and she whispers.
