Error reversals on Fiesa? - nn

I find some of these "errors" unbelievable. I feel the need to contest a couple of these. Anyone had much in the way of success with doing this or does it just tick off the reviewer and get you in deep doodoo?

Though since I often had the same few reviewers, I'm guessing shifts and days (and one's style) could probably clue them in. Regardless, challenge away, I say. The process is ridiculous, and the points deducted (especially 3-pointers) are often way overboard in terms of how supposedly "critical" the error is. Before Fiesa, I got bonus every quarter for over 2 years, and I know I didn't become that much worse an MT after its inception.

My TL won't respond to my e-mails, so for me, no luck. - anon

Last quarter I e-mailed her about an error that was absolutely wrong and had all the info to back it up regarding acct specs. I sent this to her about 8 times over a 2 month period and she NEVER responded. I know she was getting my e-mails because she responded to several others.

So in 2 years that I have been here, I have tried to have 5 things reversed and have had 1 approved, 1 not approved and 3 completely ignored.

I would have re-sent with a copy to the COM above her. - sm

Being "ignored" is unacceptable to me, and I'll re-send until I get some kind of response, and if none, then time to up the ante. My latest TSM has rejected some of my reversal requests before even sending them on, which irks me to no end, but so far has never ignored any of them.

As cruddy as the e-mail system is, it's possible that they were lost/spam-foldered, so for the first re-send, I'd just politely mention that perhaps it was lost, so re-sending, but after that, then I'd add the COM in for a copy.

Also, she is pretty hard core and scary, so I was kind of afraid what the repercussions would be of going over her head.

The COMs are all listed in charts from the NTS 2013 Compensation - and Benefits meeting.

I don't know how you'd access that now, might search your e-mail to see if you have a link for it, but if you can't find a link, I would ask your TSM to send it in order to get all the crucial info that's in it (I made screenshots of each slide for my own reference).

So I check FIESA this morning and they give me a MAJOR error for typing "and" instead of "on" on a very poor quality recording... I used to almost NEVER get error notifications in Fiesa. Now that the new "compensation plan" has been put into place, I get a notice every other day that they found an error. Due to my work ethic established over decades, I have not sped up my QAing of reports at all, accepting my fate that I will now be making third world wages until I find a new employer. Supposedly post-audit has managed to find these errors in my work. I don't buy it for a minute. How much lower can Nuance go ...

Yes this may be futile, but instead of just griping about it, I am going to start disputing only my post audit (the ones that count) corrections that I feel are wrong. Yes this may take up some time, but so does posting on this board and I am truly fed up with it and if we all start taking a little time to really start questioning the QC being done to us maybe we can make some sort of difference. After starting with Nuance, getting great QA reviews, great post audit reviews, and thinking I was doing well - I have gotten THREE major alert emails in 2 days. I have since discovered these were reviewed by Offshore QA. Why? Do we not have enough reviewers onshore? I think I am going to do what a poster below suggested and block them. I don't see that having the reviews come through helps me in any way. I have also noticed that some of these jobs have been QCd twice for some reason - and it is not a post audit. So frustrating to get dinged on things that I just can't prove I did or didn't do....I hate that part of this company. ...

So from new info I just got, post audit scores are virtually impossible to reverse. So apparently the people in that deptartment, QA or QC - whicever it is, must be Goddesses as that would imply they never make mistakes. When it is dictated that the patient had knee surgery, (a couple of other procedures), then says rotator cuff and patella surgery... would that be considered a repeat of the knee surgery? How am I supposed to know if when he dictated this, he was referring to the same surgery or not? I blanked it and got an error on a post audit. An error I see very often while doing QA, even though it has no impact on patient care, is a missing comma after the year on a full date, or missing comma after city and state. Well, the head tech guy called today and remotely went on my computer, and he could not find a solution to this error coming up when opening Editscript v 9. It will not work, so I cannot work. As posted before, I had error 372 on opening Editscript version 9. Well, tech support couldn't fix it, escription couldn't fix it, so I fixed it. I did a system recovery where I basically just wiped everything off my computer and started all over. Vista was basically reinstalled and it was like it was when it was new. I reinstalled my antivirus and word. Then when tech support installed ES 9, it worked. ...
